Golden Mountain Doodles

Coming June, 2025

Two designer doodles bred for their exceptional lineage.

Why Choose Carolina Golden Mountain Doodles?

We’re a one-time, intentional breeder raising a single litter out of love for this incredible breed—and to carry on the lineage of these two exceptional dogs, Winnie and Bear. Their Golden Mountain Doodle puppies, arriving mid-June, will be family-raised in our home with early training, full vet care, a two-year genetic health guarantee, and their own take-home crate. Thoughtfully bred and deeply loved from day one.

Winnie joined our family five years ago during a moment we’ll never forget. We had been searching for a Goldendoodle puppy, but after a long hunt, we were scammed by an online listing—losing our deposit and leaving our kids heartbroken.

Seeing how devastated everyone was, my husband immediately began calling around, determined to find a real and reputable option—no longer focused on price, but on bringing a puppy home to his family.

That same day, we found a wonderful family with a litter of Goldendoodles. Winnie was the smallest of the bunch—gentle, calm, and incredibly sweet. As soon as I picked her up, she melted into my arms and didn’t leave my side. We knew she was meant for us.

Over the years, countless friends and family members have told us they wish they had a dog just like Winnie—she’s truly loved by everyone who meets her. That’s a big part of why we’ve decided to breed her just this once: to keep one of her puppies in our family and to share a bit of the joy she brings with a few other lucky families.

Winnie and Dane have the classic story: the dad who didn’t want the dog, but ended up loving her the most.

Dane had never considered himself a dog person. After being bitten in the face by a golden retriever as a child, he carried a deep fear of dogs—especially with four small children in the house. He finally agreed to bring one home, but only if we raised her from a puppy and she never bit anyone.

Winnie had high expectations to meet, and she quickly won us all over. While we did have to gently train her out of nipping at the kids’ heels when they ran—classic puppy behavior—she never once bit or broke skin, and she still hasn’t to this day. She’s proven to be gentle, affectionate, and deeply trustworthy.

The moment Dane truly fell for her came one day when a visiting family dog startled Winnie. Instead of running to me, she ran straight to him—trusting he would protect her. From that moment on, their bond was sealed. They’ve been looking out for each other ever since.

Winnie has truly been the ultimate family dog. She’s playful and energetic when the kids are home—chasing them in the yard or joining in on their games—and just as happy to curl up quietly next to me once the house is calm. She sleeps in our oldest son’s room each night, but shares a unique bond with each of our children.

Winnie is an especially sensitive and intuitive dog. If someone in the house is feeling sad or overwhelmed, she’s the first to notice—and she won’t leave their side until they’re comforted. When my mother lived with us, Winnie was gentle and attentive with her as well, and it's the same story with every guest who walks through our door: people fall in love with her.

One of the most touching connections has been with our nephew, who is on the autism spectrum. He and Winnie bonded instantly. Her calm, affectionate presence seemed to put him at ease in a way few others could.

Winnie is naturally friendly and loves meeting new people, but she also has a protective instinct that shows up in just the right ways. She’s the perfect balance of companion and guardian—loving, loyal, and deeply in tune with the people around her.
